Under the terms of the JPA, Cisco will work closely with Telenor Group on its roadmap to accelerate digital transformation, drive new revenue streams, increase operational excellence and enable the most secure customer experiences.

Telenor Group’s leadership with smart city in Norway will leverage the company’s existing city WiFi, WAN and mobile connectivity to explore a next-generation model that protects, connects and empowers societies. Telenor Group will utlise Cisco’s data platform, Cisco Kinetic, to extract, compute, and move data from connected things to various applications – exploring potential business benefits.
